Personal-income-tax rates in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia comparing to other countries in 2012.

Looking back at year 2012, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are ranked between countries with the lowest personal income tax rates. (Indicated are highest personal income tax rates in selected countries).

General rate 15% of personal income tax in Lithuania is applicable since the end of the year 2008 and it remains stable. Currently there are no projects to change it.

 

The income tax rate currently applicable in Estonia is 21%. The tax rate is subject to change in 2015 when the income tax rate will be lowered to 20%.

 

From January 1, 2013 in Latvia personal income tax rate is decreased to 24%.  You can read more about personal income tax plan in Latvia here http://www.gencs.eu/news/view/498
